is in need of a RV Repair Technician
NOC Code: 72423
Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Inspect recreational vehicles, trailers, and motorhomes for damage and maintenance needs.
2. Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and propane systems.
3. Install, maintain, and upgrade appliances, cabinetry, and interior components.
4. Perform repairs involving woodwork, fiberglass, metal, and tin materials.
5. Conduct minor mechanical repairs, including work on generators and wheel bearings.
6. Use cleaning chemicals, adhesives, and sealants for various maintenance and repair tasks.
7. Operate diagnostic tools and systems, including tech tablets.
8. Assist Journeyman Technicians and obtain required parts from the Parts Department.
9. Communicate with supervisors and customers and complete required service documentation.
10. Perform all duties in accordance with company safety requirements and regulations.
11. Perform other related duties required.
Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
2. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years experience with mechanical repairs on RVs and generators, including plumbing and electrical work
3. General experience working in the RV industry is considered an asset.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in the safe use of industrial tools and equipment.
6. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
7. Flexible work schedule.
Working Hours: 7-8 hours/day, 35-40 hours/week; work scheduled from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; 2 days off per week on weekends
Wage/Benefits: $36.00 to $44.00/hour; enrollment in Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Extended Medical Insurance after 1 year of employment, Productivity Bonus
