Rope Access Technician (RAT) Job

Pendulum Rope Access Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Rope Access Technician (RAT) to join the team.

Position: Rope Access Technician (RAT)
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $3?9.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Location: 38468 Wilson Crescent, Squamish, BC, V8B 0M4

Duties:

Rope access hard-to-reach areas without a scaffold or a work platform
Descend, ascend, and traverse ropes for access and work while suspended by a harness
Perform a variety of maneuvers on the rope comfortably
Perform duties such as inspection, painting touch-ups, washing windows, pressure washing, waterproofing, and other kinds of work at height or high angle
Perform minor repair/maintenance activities at height or high angle
Follow established safety rules and instructions
Qualifications:

Completion of secondary school is required
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Rope Access Technician or in a related trade is required
IRATA certification (Level 2 or higher) ?i?s an asset
Valid BC driver's license
First Aid and Fall Protection certifications are assets
Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations, fall protection standards, and rope access procedures
Ability to plan work at heights and supervise crews in high-risk environments
English language ability is required
