Room Attendant Job

At Coastal Inn Digby., we provide exceptional customer service. We have immediate opening for position of a Room Attendant.

As a Room Attendant, you will perform following duties:
-Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
-Dust furniture
-Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
-Make beds and change sheets
-Distribute clean towels and toiletries
-Stock linen closet
-Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
-Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
-Handle and report lost and found items
-Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
-Provide basic information on facilities
-Pick up debris and empty trash containers
-Address customers' complaints or concerns

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
-No degree, certificate or diploma

– No experience (will train)
– Have excellent communication skills

Terms & Conditions:
• Permanent, full-time employment – 35 hours per week
• Compensation: $19 per hour. An overtime rate of 1 1/2 of base pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week
• Location: Digby (Conway), NS
