Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Physically demanding; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Handling heavy loads; Repetitive tasks; Work under pressure.

Terms of Employment:
$36.00 per hour
Full-time 30 hours per week
6% vacation pay
Tasks:
Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel;
Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings;
Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings;
Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions;
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements;
Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings;
Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems;
Instruct apprentices;
Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools;
Install sheet metal flashings;
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
