Roofer Job

-Install, repair and replace asphalt shingle, metal and other sloped roofing systems.
-Install waterproof membranes, underlayment, flashing, ridge vents and other roofing components.
-Inspect roofs, identify deficiencies and perform roofing repairs as required.
-Remove existing roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces for new installations.
-Measure, cut and install roofing materials according to project specifications.
-Set up and dismantle ladders, scaffolding and fall protection equipment.
-Install soffit, fascia, eavestrough and gutter systems as required.
-Maintain a safe and clean work site and ensure completed work meets quality standards.

-Completion of secondary school preferred.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing or a related exterior construction trade, including siding, soffit, fascia or eavestrough installation.
-Experience installing roofing materials, flashing and waterproofing systems.
-Experience working safely at heights and using hand and power tools.
-Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays as required.
-Trade certification is an asset.
