Location: Jersey City, NJ (1 day onsite per week)
Role: seeking a hands-on Backend Developer (10+ years) with strong expertise in Python and AI technologies to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with AI libraries and cloud integration with Azure, working across cross-functional teams to implement new features and ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
Description:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer with a strong portfolio in Python and AI-based applications.
• Proficient in Python, with hands-on experience using FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy/SQLModel.
• Experience with AI frameworks/libraries like OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, Crew AI.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Services (e.g., Azure OpenAI) and deployment in Azure cloud.
• Solid experience building RESTful APIs using Python.
• Strong SQL skills – efficient query writing and optimization.
• Working knowledge of Azure services – Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, etc.
• Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps platform.
• Basic front-end experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and integration using Streamlit or Plotly Dash.
• Experience with version control – Git, Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication and the ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
