RF Engineer II Job

o Work with the Implementation and Operations Teams on the cell site’s antenna and RF equipment configuration and database parameters
o Complete optimization techniques for optimal site/cluster performance (antenna selection, tilts, neighbor list, etc)
o Assist with propagation (Planet, Tornado, Wizard, Odyssey, dB Planner, etc.) for model calibration, drive test data post-processing, map generation, frequency planning and interference
matrix analysis, site database maintenance, etc
o Responsible for report generation, post processing data, interference analysis and optimization
o RF data collection, post process and drive test analysis
o E911, hardware monitoring, open tickets
o Provide support to multi-functional team of R&D, Program Management, Core Networking, RF Engineering, Transport and Technical/Training Support to fulfill multi-technology wireless
network deployment across customer markets
o Responsible for link budgets analysis, system dimensioning for coverage and capacity including traffic analysis, frequency planning, interference analysis and optimization
o Proficient in neighbor list, parameters, tools and audit process
o Knowledge of commands, run scripts, macros, RF tools, Mapinfo
o Optimize site/cluster performance and resolve trouble tickets through reports, tools, scanner and drive test analysis
o Complete propagation (Accuver, Planet, TEMS, NEMO) for model calibration, drive test data post-processing, map generation, frequency planning and interference matrix analysis, site
database maintenance, etc.
o Work with the Implementation and Operations Teams on the cell site’s antenna and RF equipment configuration and database parameters
o Present ideas, technical and non-technical, in a logical, compelling manner.
o Use of Anritsu PIM, Sweep Master, TEMS, NEMO, Planet, Accuver, Tornado, Wizard, Odyssey, dB Planner.

Minimum requirements
Education: Must possess Master’s degree or equivalent in Telecommunications or related field.
Experience: 12 months’ experience in the position offered or a related position.
Special skills:
Aforementioned 12 months must include the following:
Anritsu PIM, Sweep Master, TEMS, NEMO, Planet, Accuver, Tornado, Wizard, Odyssey, dB Planner.
