Job Description
Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor
Term of Employment: Permanent/Full Time/ 40 hours per week
Compensation: $36.00 per hour. Overtime after 44 hours per week
Working Conditions: Job involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, night, Shift, weekend, overtime and holiday work.
Languages: English
Education: Applicant must have completed Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Ability to Supervise: 3 to 4 people
Specific Skills: Assign sales workers to duties, Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, Order merchandise, Authorize return of merchandise, Establish work schedules, Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, Organize and maintain inventory, Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, Sell merchandise, Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, Manage cash
