Overview
RONA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to oversee operations at our Sechelt location in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will lead a team of associates, ensuring that customers receive outstanding service while driving sales and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
Assist in planning and executing promotional events and sales strategies.
Qualifications
Must have high school degree in business, retail, management, supply chain or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in retail management for 2 years, with at least one year in supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Knowledge of building materials and lumber products.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite
