POSITION: RETAIL STORE MANAGER
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time, Permanent
WAGE RATE: $45.00 Per hour
EDUCATION: Secondary School
EXPERIENCE: 3 years to less than 5 years
LANGUAGE: English

JOB DUTIES:
• Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the business engaged in whole and retail sales
• Determine consumer demand, potential sales volume and effect of competitor’s operations on sales
• Mange staff, assign duties and address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
• Negotiate with vendors to procure merchandise
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Plan budget, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
• Improve and evaluate customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
• Ensure the visual standards, store displays, signage and cleanliness are appropriate
• Hire new staff and manages staff performance including development and retention of staff
WORK SETTING: The candidate should be available to work full time, including early mornings, mornings, days, or evenings, and on the weekends as required.
