Position Summary
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing inventory and staff members, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures
• Manage staff and assign duties
• Manage, train, schedule, and develop store staff
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store presentation
• Monitor stock levels; manage ordering, receiving, and product rotation
• Maintain merchandising standards and ensure promotional displays are accurate
• Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food-handling regulations
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
• Manage cash handling procedures and daily financial reporting
• Track store performance and work toward sales and productivity targets
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience
• Completion of secondary school education
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with inventory control and POS systems
