Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Term of Employment:Permanent/Full Time/ 30-40 hours per week
Compensation: $38.50 per hour. Overtime after 40 hours per week
Working Conditions: Job involves Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, weekends and holiday work.
Languages: English
Education: Applicant must have completed Secondary (high) school gradua-tion certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work setting: Rural area, Retail business
Ability to Supervise: 3 to 4 people
Specific Skills: Direct and control daily operations, Plan and organize daily operations, Determine staffing requirements, Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, Evaluate daily operations, Manage staff and assign duties, Determine merchandise and services to be sold, Develop and im-plement marketing strategies, Plan budgets and monitor revenues and ex-penses, Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, com-plaints and supply shortages.
