Retail Store Manager Job

Akal Gardens Ltd. operating as Rainbow Food and Gas, is looking for one Retail Store Manager for their business located at 42220 Yarrow Central Road, Chilliwack, British Columbia, V2R 5E4. This is full time, permanent job position with 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.

As an Retail Store Manager, you would be performing the following job duties:

-Oversee daily operations of the gas station and retail store, including fuel, liquor, and convenience items, ensuring -compliance with Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) regulations.
-Plan and manage store budgets. Monitor sales and control expenses.
-Hire and train staff. Ensure proper onboarding and policy compliance.
-Supervise staff. Assign tasks and monitor performance. Provide coaching when needed.
-Prepare staff schedules to ensure smooth daily operations.
-Monitor inventory levels. Order stock and coordinate with suppliers. Ensure timely restocking.
-Implement sales and promotional strategies to increase revenue.
-Review sales trends and customer preferences to adjust pricing and product selection.
-Provide strong customer service. Handle inquiries and resolve complaints quickly.
-Maintain a safe and compliant workplace. Follow all safety and LCRB requirements.

Job Requirement:

-Completion of secondary school is usually required
-2 to 3 years of work experience required.
-English as a language skill is required.

What we offer:

-$45.00 per hour
-4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
