Retail Store Chain Manager
1736177 Ontario Inc. is currently seeking a driven and experienced Retail Store Chain Manager to oversee the operations of two retail locations:
- Beauty Blossom, 59A Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0
- Natural Blossom, Unit 253 - 6380 Fallsview Blvd, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 7Y6
Position Details:
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (30 hours/week)
Schedule: Shifts, including weekends
Salary: $71,510 annually
Commute between store locations is required and fully covered by the employer
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and evaluate retail operations and staff performance
- Manage daily store operations and assign duties to staff
- Analyze market trends to determine consumer demand and sales opportunities
- Decide on merchandise offerings; set pricing and credit policies
- Source vendors and negotiate terms for purchasing merchandise
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Manage budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenue performance
- Oversee customer service standards and address client concerns
- Handle staffing needs, including hiring, training, and retention of employees
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- 3-4 years of progressive experience in retail or wholesale sales
- Strong proficiency in English and excellent customer service skills
