Wage: $26.00 per hour for 35 hrs/wk

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate sales staff and help them achieve sales targets by motivating them and monitoring their performance
• Assist in recruiting new sales associates/cashiers
• Assign sales workers to duties,
• Authorize return of merchandise,
• Sell merchandise,
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters,
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages,
• Organize and maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Ensure cleanliness and professional appearance of the store

• Completion of Secondary School is required
• Minimum 1- year experience as a sales clerk or salesperson is required
• Previous experience as a sales supervisor is an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be customer service oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively coach and mentor sales team members
• Strong organization skills
