Retail Sales Supervisor (Full-time, Permanent)

Hanahreum Mart Inc., operating as Hanahreum Mart, is seeking an accomplished and experienced Retail Sales Supervisor to oversee retail operations at its Coquitlam location.

This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week, at 329 North Rd., Suite 100, Coquitlam, British Columbia, V3K 3V8.

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of sales associates and cashiers across various departments.
- Assign staff to duties, prepare work schedules, and ensure sufficient coverage during business hours.
- Oversee customer service operations, including payments, returns, and issue resolution.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate merchandise replenishment to maintain stock levels.
- Ensure store displays, cleanliness, and merchandising standards meet company policies.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to promote efficient operations and quality service.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.
- Enforce compliance with occupational health, food safety, and operational standards.
- Perform key-holding and managerial duties such as store opening, closing, and supplier coordination.

Employment Requirements

- Completion of secondary school is usually required.
- Previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson, sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer, door-to-door salesperson, or rental agent is usually required.
- 2 years to less than 3 years

Compensation and Working Conditions

The successful candidate will receive a wage of $36.60 per hour, plus applicable overtime in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act.
This is a permanent full-time position, providing 30 to 40 hours per week across five working days between Monday and Sunday during Hanahreum Mart Inc.’s normal business hours.
