Primary Responsibilities:
REQUIRED SKILLSET:
• Manage the daily operations of the Petro-Canada gas station and convenience store to ensure efficient and profitable business activities.
• Lead, train and manage store employees by assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance and supporting staff development.
• Review sales trends, customer preferences and local market conditions to identify opportunities to improve sales and remain competitive.
• Decide on the range of convenience store products and services and assist in setting pricing and promotional initiatives.
• Coordinate with suppliers to purchase fuel-related products, convenience store merchandise and other inventory while maintaining adequate stock.
• Plan and carry out promotional activities and local marketing initiatives to increase customer traffic and sales.
• Prepare operating budgets, approve business expenses and monitor sales performance and operating costs.
• Maintain high customer service standards by resolving escalated customer concerns and implementing service improvements.
• Identify staffing needs, participate in hiring, provide training and implement employee retention and performance improvement initiatives.
