Required Service Manager-Retail (TEER 60020)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Manage and direct sales operations of the company.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for truck sales department.
• Explains, implements, and enforces office policies, emphasizing customer satisfaction and a positive dealership image.
• Monitors the productivity and planned itineraries of salespeople.
• Conducts sales training meetings and provides salespeople with continuous product and training resources.
• Ensures proper follow-up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system.
• Analyzes sales history and market conditions to determine inventory requirements and orders new trucks accordingly.
• Conducts major sales promotions in accordance with company goals and objectives.
• Increases the overall profitability of the company by successfully implementing manufacturer programs.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Establishes procedures for quick disposal of over-aged vehicles.
• Promotes teamwork in a customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery and follow-up process.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Education and Experience: A university degree or college diploma in business is preferred and 3-4 years of sales and client facing experience is required.
