Primary Responsibilities:
REQUIRED SKILLSET:
1. Manage the daily operations of the wholesale division dealing in ethnic sweets and savory snacks, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
2. Oversee staff in purchasing, packaging, warehousing, and distribution.
3. Analyze demand patterns and customer preferences to adjust inventory levels and product offerings accordingly.
4. Command and source ingredients and finished products from suppliers while managing pricing, quality control, and delivery schedules.
5. Manage and monitor stock levels and ensure timely restocking of high-demand items while minimizing waste of perishable goods.
6. Foster strong partnerships with buyers, distributors, and supply chain partners to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
7. Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, sales, and financial performance to support planning and reporting.
8. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, especially those related to food safety and workplace hygiene.
9. Handle contract negotiations and set pricing strategies in line with business objectives and market trends.
10. Lead the recruitment and training of team members, ensuring staff are equipped with the skills needed to meet organizational goals.
