Job Description:

• Order and purchase furniture merchandise in accordance with customer demand and quality standards.
• Identify and select products based on the business operation requirements and customer needs.
• Research and analyze market and product trends to determine the appropriate quantities and product types to purchase.
• Attend furniture exhibitions and supplier showrooms to stay updated on market trends.
• Collaborate with furniture suppliers and distributors to negotiate pricing, product selections, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Arrange and oversee transportation and shipping arrangements to ensure efficient product delivery.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth business operations & efficient inventory replenishment.
• Keeping a regular check on inventory to ensure that the store is furnished with sufficient supplies at all times.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in the related field is required.
• Minimum six months to one year of work experience in the retail industry is required.
• Proficient in MS Office tools
• Knowledge in sales and merchandising, including market analysis, product selection, and negotiation.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
