Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience : 2 years to less than 3 years
Location: Various Sites in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). There is no option to work remotely.
Our Headquarters is location at 14 Paisley Lane, Uxbridge, ON L9P 0G5. Workers are not required to travel to our office.
Work site environment: At heights, Confined spaces, Dusty , Noisy, Outdoors , Wet/damp
Work setting: Urban area
Responsibilities/ Tasks:
Instruct apprentices
Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures
Caulk decks and hulls
Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
Required Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
Suspended access equipment training
Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Working at Heights
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience
Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts
Power tools
Hand tools
Cleaning experience
Brick and stone building exteriors
Area of specialization: Construction, Masonry and Concrete Restoration.
