Job Description:
Horizon Connect Construction, located at 43 McCormack St., York, Ontario M6N 1X8, is looking for 4 Restoration Carpenters to join the company as soon as possible on full-time, permanent basis. The employment conditions are:
- Wages: $36.00 to $38.50 per hour (to be negotiated) for 37.5 hours per week
- Working hours: from 08:00 to 16:00

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: At heights, Confined spaces, Noisy, Dusty
Work setting: Construction, Various locations, Renovation, Historical restoration, Commercial, Residential
Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair
Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements, Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems, Fill moulds with concrete
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
