Position: Restaurant manager (NOC 60030)
Number of Positions: 1
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Education Requirements: Completion of a college program in hospitality or food service management
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in food preparation and/or food service
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in the hospitality industry
• Expertise in high-volume restaurant operations, ensuring seamless coordination between front and back of house
• Strong abilities to maintain consistent food quality and presentation, and guest service standards
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and the ability to coordinate back-of-house functions when required
• Strong organizational skills and decisive problem-solving ability under pressure, particularly during peak service hours
• Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate front- and back-of-house team
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining cost control without compromising quality and service
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with staff, guests, and vendors
• Solid understanding of marketing, promotions, social media, and market trends to support customer engagement and business growth
Language Requirements: English

Wage: $66,612/year
Hours: 35 hours per week
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation
Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate restaurant operations, including quality control of food and service
• Determine menu and other services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Hire staff and arrange and oversee staff training
• Set staff work schedules and monitor, evaluate, and coach staff performance
• Manage inventory, monitor revenues, control costs, and recommend adjustments to pricing and operating procedures
• Address and resolve customer concerns and maintain high guest satisfaction standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers and maintain good relationships
