Position Summary:
The Omotenashi Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations and an exceptional guest experience. Based in Torrance, this position oversees service operations, team performance and daily restaurant management in a fast-paced fast-casual setting.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in high-energy environments and enjoys mentoring team members while maintaining strong operational standards.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations
• Lead and develop supervisors and restaurant staff
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels and shift coverage
• Maintain service standards and ensure operational efficiency
• Monitor POS reporting, sales performance and operational metrics
• Uphold food quality, safety and cleanliness standards
• Deliver a warm and welcoming guest experience rooted in omotenashi hospitality
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management
• Experience managing teams in fast-casual or café environments
• Knowledge of POS systems and service workflows
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for hospitality and Japanese food culture
