Restaurant Manager Job

1000338375 Ontario Inc. (dba Ohiru Cafe) is seeking a Restaurant Manager.

Full-time, permanent; $37.00 per hour; 30-44 hours per week. Standard 6–8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8am and 5pm.

Duties:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Ohiru Cafe;
• Hire, train, supervise, and schedule staff;
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns;
• Monitor inventory and order food, beverages, and supplies;
• Track sales and expenses and help improve restaurant performance;
• Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained;
• Work with suppliers to keep products and supplies in stock;
• Support marketing and promotional activities to help grow the business;
• Maintain a positive and efficient work environment for staff.

Qualifications:
• Secondary school completion is required;
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required;
• Minimum 3 years in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required;
• English language ability is required.
