Restaurant Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, control and monitor restaurant operations
• Evaluate operational procedures to improve efficiency, service quality, and profitability
• Oversee staff hiring and training for restaurant procedures, sanitation and safety
• Coordinate activities of staff by scheduling, training and assigning duties
• Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement
• Ensure standards of food quality, presentation and operations are met
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Korean cuisine, menu offerings, ingredients and food cost considerations
• Monitor and maintain records of stock, sales, repairs and wastage for modifying procedures and estimating costs for efficient and profitable operation
• Manage quantity and quality control of inventory
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Communicate and maintain network with customers, suppliers and service providers

Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience in food service, including supervisory experience
• Experience in Korean cuisine preferred
• Completion of college in hospitality or food service or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Well-organized, able to multi-task and self-motivated
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures; certification is an asset

Position Type:

Wage - $37.00 per hour
