Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school is required. Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience are required.
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, MS Excel, MS Office.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods.
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Personal suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral and written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Team player, Ability to multitask.
Ability to supervise: 3 - 4 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Language: English is required.
Salary: $28.39 hourly, 41 hours per week
Benefits: Gratuities, Work uniforms provided by the employer, Meals provided at a discounted rate during work hours, Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.
Important information: The workers will work six days a week: Tuesdays to Thursdays, from 2:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and on Sundays from 2:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Flexibility on schedule is required as some days may start earlier, and others finish later depending on the business needs. Work on weekends is required.
