JOB DETAILS -
Location: Surrey, BC
Salary: $ 35.00 Per Hour

Education- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience - 2 year to less than 3 years
Work setting- Restaurant
JOB DUTIES –
• To analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• To develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
• To evaluate daily operations
• To modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• To monitor staff performance
• To plan and organize daily operations
• To recruit staff
• To set staff work schedules
• To supervise staff
• To train staff
• To determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• To balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
• To conduct performance reviews
• To organize and maintain inventory
• To ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• To negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• To negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
• To address customers' complaints or concerns
• To provide customer service
• To manage events
Supervision -
11-15 people
Work conditions and physical capabilities -
Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
