As a Restaurant Manager, you will perform the following duties:

• Ensure attitude is always friendly and courteous.
• Direct, control and evaluate daily operations
• Manage budget, including payroll, food costs, and other expenses, working to maximize profitability
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Keep track of inventory, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed at all the times
• Create work schedules, assign duties to the staff, and monitor staff performance
• Prepare and present sales reports
• Provide customer service and handle customers’ complaints or enquires
• Managing restaurant’s social media presence and online reputation
• Recruit, train and supervise staff

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of post-secondary certificate or diploma in hospitality or food service management is an asset.
• At least 2 years of experience as restaurant manager or other supervisory position in food services is required.
• Fluent in English, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to speak Mandarin is an asset.
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to work varying shifts, including weekends, holiday, and late night.
