RESTAURANT MANAGER Job

Job Type
• Full-time, Permanent
Salary
• $36/hr., paid bi-weekly.
Duties and responsibilities

• Process payroll for all restaurant staff.
• To direct and execute the staff and provide required assistance.
• To monitor the cash flow of the sales and purchases on daily basis.
• To find and research better potential vendors and suppliers to reduce costs and improve quality.
• To determine the inventory and equipment needs in a timely manner.
• Manage and store vendors’ contracts and invoices.
• Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff.
• Prepare shift schedules.
• Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings and ordering uniforms).
• Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
• Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus.
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
• Develop, implement, and analyze budgets.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff.

Education
• College diploma (Education in relevant trade is an asset)
Qualifications & Experience
• Experience in same field is an asset
• Must work mixed shifts depending upon the schedule
Job Requirements
• Strong analytical and managing skills
• A positive and team-oriented attitude
• Must be able to work with a team and have a strong initiative.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Physical requirements
• Standing for long periods of time
• Working in a hot kitchen environment
