Restaurant Manager Job

Barcelos Restaurant, located at #119 – 2120 Dollarton Highway, North Vancouver, BC V7H 0B5, requires one full-time, permanent Restaurant Manager.

The salary for this position is $38.40 per hour.

The successful applicant will be required to:
- Analyze and develop budgets to maintain restaurant profitability and determine operating costs
- Plan and organize daily operations, including services and operational procedures
- Evaluate daily operations, monitor revenues and labour costs, and assess staff performance
- Recruit, schedule, supervise, train, and conduct performance reviews for staff
- Lead and instruct individuals
- Cost products and services and maintain inventory
- Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Enforce liquor legislation, health, and safety regulations
- Address customer complaints and provide customer service
- Negotiate catering and facility arrangements with clients
- Manage events

Applicants should have:
- Excellent English language skills
- Relevant college or university education
- At least three years of experience in restaurant management
