Permanent Position: Restaurant Manager
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time, Overtime, Weekend, day, Night, Evening shift, if required.
Vacancies: 1
Wage Rate: $36.70 per hour, for 37.5 hours per week
Work Location: 116 East 15th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7L 2P9 Canada
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
Education: High School required, college diploma an asset
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in fast-paced environment.
Language: Strong English skills
Ability to supervise: Staff in various area of responsibility.
Work Setting: Restaurant, Person should be able to work in day, evening, night, weekend and or on call.
Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of the restaurant.
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training.
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
• Respond to customer complaints.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
• Should be customer service oriented.
Essential Skills: Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning.
