Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily restaurant operations.
2. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, including scheduling and performance management.
3. Ensure high standards of customer service and promptly address customer concerns.
4. Monitor revenues and expenses, control costs, and support budgeting and financial planning.
5. Maintain inventory, order supplies, and negotiate with suppliers as needed.
6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
7. Oversee food quality, presentation, and service standards.
8. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
9. Maintain records of stock, sales, and employee performance.
10. Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
11. Track expenses and gratuities.
12. Perform other related duties as required to support restaurant operations.
Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelors Degree in Hospitality.
2. Work Experience: At least five years of experience in a managerial role within a restaurant setting.
3. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
4. Familiarity with Payworks.ca
5. Must have hands-on experience with soft ice cream machine operation and cleaning.
6. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and every weekends.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
9. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
10. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Working Hours: 6-8 hours/day, 30-40 hours/week; work schedule varies between 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 2 varied days off per week
Wage: $36.00/hour
Work Location: Cochrane, Alberta, Canada T4C 2B8 – Must be willing and able to work here.
Language: Proficient in English to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
