Restaurant Manager Job

We are Pagoda Inn, a restaurant located in Lumby, BC, serving Chinese cuisine. We are looking for a restaurant Manager to join our team.

Main duties and responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of our restaurant.
• Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training.
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or the use of facilities for banquets and parties.

Work Location: 1879 Vernon Street, Lumby, BC V0E 2G0
Duration: full-time, permanent
Salary: $27.75/hour
Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
• Completion of college is required.
• 1-2 years of experience is required.
