Restaurant Manager Job

Employment Type: Full-time, 3-Year Contract
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and efficient workflow
• Coordinate daily team activities across kitchen and service staff to support timely food preparation and service
• Schedule staff shifts, assign duties, and supervise team performance during service
• Train and support staff, especially in food handling, preparation standards, and service practices
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to maintain consistency with the menu concept
• Track food, labor, and operating costs, and adjust operations to control expenses
• Manage inventory, place orders, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
• Support hiring and onboarding to maintain a stable and reliable team
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations all time
• Organize reservations and coordinate group dining or special service arrangements

Qualifications:
• A diploma in hospitality or food service is preferred.
• Several years of experience in the food service industry
• Some supervisory or team lead experience is preferred
• Practical understanding of kitchen operations is an asset
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and service flow
• Good communication and basic team management skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
