Restaurant Manager Job

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced, rural restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing staff, optimizing profitability, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
-Analyze and manage budgets to maximize restaurant profitability
-Develop cost estimates for food, supplies, and operations
-Evaluate and improve daily operations
-Adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing based on budget
-Monitor revenues and control labour costs
-Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule staff (20+ employees)
-Conduct performance reviews and enforce workplace standards
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
-Manage inventory and organize supplies
-Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service delivery
-Participate in marketing initiatives and event management
-Maintain financial records, balance cash, and complete reports

Technical Skills
-Accounting software
-Electronic cash register systems
-MS Office (including Outlook and spreadsheets)
-Point of Sale (POS) systems

Additional Requirements
-Valid driver’s licence
-Own vehicle
