Job Description:

Evaluate daily operations

Monitor staff performance

Plan and organize daily operations

Set staff work schedules

Supervise staff

Train staff

Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms

Conduct performance reviews

Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Participate in marketing plans and implementation

Leading/instructing individuals

Address customers' complaints or concerns

Provide customer service

Manage events

Calculate and manage tips to servers

Help floor staff during busy times (serve, bartend)

Run pre-shift meetings to communicate daily goals, specials, and service tips

In charge of managing and ordering all bar inventory. Making sure par levels are met and cost control reports are done each month

In charge of managing and ordering all coffee market inventory

Ensure the dining room, coffee market, Bar area and restrooms are clean and working properly

Track inventory levels of bathroom supplies, cleaning products and prevent waste

Manage all social media accounts, menu management and ensuring website is up to date

Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school OR other programs related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required. If the candidate does not have at least 5 years of experience, a post secondary certificate related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.

Ability to supervise at least 5 workers.

Salary: $38.00 hourly, 40 hours per week.

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The regular schedule is 8 hours per day, scheduled between 11:00 am and 12:00 am. Work on weekends and holidays will be required.
