Restaurant Manager Job

EGGBOMB PLUS BRUNCH & BAR is seeking an experienced and dependable Restaurant Manager to oversee the restaurant’s daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for staff management, operational planning, cost control, customer service, regulatory compliance, and maintaining consistent food and service standards.

Workplace information: On site
Salary: $36.60 hourly/30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Starts as soon as possible

Main Duties
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations.
Establish and implement operating procedures and service standards.
Recruit employees and supervise staff training.
Prepare employee schedules and monitor staff performance.
Assign duties and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Monitor inventory and arrange the purchasing of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
Monitor revenues, operating expenses, food costs, and labour costs.
Review sales, performance, and productivity reports.
Assist with budgeting, pricing, cost control, and operational planning.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and coordinate purchasing and deliveries.
Address customer complaints and resolve workplace or service-related concerns.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, occupational health and safety, and company policies.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service.
Support business development, promotional activities, and continued operational growth.
Report regularly to the owner regarding restaurant performance and operational matters.

Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Completion of Secondary (high) school
Experience: At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant
Experience managing a comparable full-service restaurant is an asset.
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, staff scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, and cost control.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as required.
