Job Description:
Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is a family breakfast and lunch hotspot that focuses on combining quality food with quality service. Our menu consists of home-cooked breakfast and lunch dishes combined with specialty pancakes, waffles, and French toast.

Currently, we are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our team. This position will be Full-Time and Permanent, and the work location will be 4307 130 Ave SE, Unit 223, Calgary, AB T2Z 3V8.
The wage will be $36.00 per hour with 30-40 hours per week. The overtime pay will be 1.5x the regular rate, beginning after 44 hours of work per week and/or 8 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of a family-oriented breakfast and lunch restaurant.
• Establish service standards and operational procedures to ensure consistent food quality and customer service.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure efficient service during breakfast and lunch hours.
• Manage inventory, control costs, and monitor sales and revenues.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for food and other restaurant supplies.
Job Requirements:
• Language: English
• Completion of a college program is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the food service industry.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in staff recruitment, training, and scheduling.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
• Experience with inventory control and supplier coordination.
• Ability to maintain high standards of customer service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
• Fast-paced, high-volume breakfast and lunch service environment.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and make operational decisions under pressure.
• Work may include early mornings, weekends, and statutory holidays based on operational needs.
• Overtime may occasionally be required during peak periods or staffing shortages.
• Physically demanding environment that may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of supplies.
