Restaurant Manager Job

Sehmi Japanese Restaurant in Port Alberni, BC is looking for a Restaurant Manager to work with our team.

Title: Restaurant Manager
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Salary: CAD 37.00 – 39.00 per hour
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 2404 Timberlane Road, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 8P2

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in restaurant management
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or food and beverage service management is required

Main Duties:
- Supervise and assess the comprehensive workflow of dining establishments, lounges, or catering venues to ensure peak efficiency.
- Define service models and execute standardized protocols for daily business functions.
- Acquire talent and facilitate professional development programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate employee rosters and evaluate individual productivity levels consistently.
- Regulate stock levels, analyze financial yields, and adjust pricing strategies or internal policies accordingly.
- Address guest grievances and uphold rigorous sanitary and security benchmarks.
- Authorize procurement agreements with vendors for culinary ingredients and essential hardware.
- Finalize contractual terms with patrons regarding specialized event hosting or banquet hall rentals.
