Job Description:
Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
Evaluate daily operations
Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
Monitor staff performance
Plan and organize daily operations
Recruit staff
Set staff work schedules
Supervise staff
Train staff
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Conduct performance reviews
Cost products and services
Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Leading/instructing individuals
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Provide customer service
Ensure the restaurant runs smoothly during busy hours and step in when needed
Deal with customer issues and keep service at good standard
Watch food costs and reduce waste in the kitchen

Job Requirements:
Requirements
Education: Completion of secondary school OR other programs related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.
Knowledge of Mexican cuisine is required due to the nature of the business.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Ability to multitask.

Ability to supervise at least 11 workers.
Salary: 36 CAD hourly. 40 hours per week.
Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. The employee will work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. The schedule may vary depending on business needs.
