Restaurant Manager Job

Title of Position: Restaurant Manager
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, may have to work overtime if needed
Work Shift: It can be daytime, evening, weekends and/or holidays
Wage: $40.00~$45.00
Benefits: Extended medical insurance after 90 days probation period & 4% of vacation fee from gross salary

Main duties
• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
• Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Hire staff and provide training
• Organize and supervise shifts and monitor their performance
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

Requirements
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required
• Several years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
• Food Safe Level 1 & Serving It Right Certificate required
