We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced bar & grill environment, ensures consistent food quality, and maintains high standards of kitchen organization, food safety, and team performance. This role requires a person who has the ability to manage our restaurant operations and also knows their way around the kitchen. You will play a key role in upholding the quality and reputation that keep customers returning for great food and memorable experiences at Two Parrots.
Job Description:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the kitchen of our restaurant.
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
Oversee the type of services offered and implement operational procedures.
Recruit kitchen staff and oversee staff training.
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
Control inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Monitor revenues and modify procedures as required.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
Assist in the arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Ensure kitchen and restaurant cleanliness.
Necessary Skills/Qualifications:
High school or equivalent;
Several years of experience in the restaurant industry;
Ability to cook;
Ability to speak English;
Food Safe Level 1 Certification;
Serving it Right Certificate is an asset/desired;
