Restaurant Assistant Manager Job

Triple Star Restaurant Ltd. (dba Mama Panda), a busy and growing restaurant located at 9608 100 Street, Fort St. John, BC, is currently seeking a qualified and motivated full-time Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team.

Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager (NOC 60030)
Term: Full-time, permanent
Wage: $28.00/Hour
Hours: 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week
Vacation Pay: 10 days paid vacation.

Job duties:
• Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient workflow and service quality
• Support the implementation of operational procedures, company policies, and food safety standards
• Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff, including monitoring performance and providing guidance
• Help schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during operating hours
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste and spoilage
• Assist in controlling operational costs and supporting revenue targets
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints to maintain high standards of customer service
• Support cash handling procedures, POS operations, and preparation of daily sales reports
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
• Coordinate with suppliers for ordering food and other necessary supplies

Requirements:
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.
• One-year experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience is required
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
