Job Description:
Are you a compassionate individual who has previous experience working with children with development disabilities and limited verbal/communication skills? If so, then this is the position for you!
We are seeking a Respite Worker to provide respite care for a elementary age child with Autism! This child loves playing on the trampoline, going to parks, being outdoors, and riding his adaptive bike.
Respite care will be conducted in the child's home. Community outings are also encouraged.
WAGE: $17.66 per hour (pay increase based on experience)
Location: Eau Claire, WI
SCHEDULE
· 4 Hours Per Week.
· Afternoon, Evenings, and Weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
· Flexible Schedule to be determined by family.
JOB DUTIES
· Supervision and Safety
· Toileting (Assistance with Incontinence/Diapers)
· Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming etc.)
· Meal Prep (Snack Time)
· Active attentiveness
· Companionship and Social Engagement
· Transportation to and from Community Outings.

· Experience with children with Autism or development disability preferred.
