Respite Provider Job

Are you looking for a chance to brighten the life of another in your spare time? A loving family in Darlington is looking for an as-needed respite provider for a woman with special needs. Experience with Alzheimer’s Disease a plus, but most importantly, someone who possesses a big heart.

Location: Darlington, WI
Wage: $16.32/hr
Schedule: This would be an as needed position and the schedule would be determined between the provider and the family, and may become permanent based on individual’s needs

Responsibilities:
• Attending to Activities of Daily Living
o Bathing
o Toileting
o Dressing
o Grooming
o Meal Prep
o Medication Administration
• Transportation to and from outings and appointments
• Ensuring Safety and Comfort

Qualifications:
• Age 18 or older at start of employment
• Experience working with adults with Down’s Syndrome and Alzheimer’s is a plus
• Willing to undergo a background check
