Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and patient Respite Care Provider to support a family in Marshfield, WI. This position involves providing care for two young children, ages 4 and 6, both of whom have autism.
Schedule
4 hours per week
Saturday or Sunday
Family is flexible regarding which day works best
Pay
$10.52 per hour
Responsibilities
Supervise and ensure the children's safety and well-being
Change diapers as needed
Prepare and provide meals and snacks
Engage the children in fun and age-appropriate activities
Provide a positive, supportive, and caring environment
Children's Interests
The children enjoy:
Watching TV
Dancing and singing
Coloring and arts & crafts
Outdoor play
Active, hands-on activities
Additional Information
One child has epilepsy; all medication management is handled by the parent.
Family has 1 dog and 3 cats, so comfort around pets is required.
Experience working with children with autism is preferred but not required. A compassionate and dependable individual is most important.
