Work Experience: 7 Months To Less Than 1 Year
Job Duties:
?? Perform routine general building maintenance and minor repairs in guest and staff facilities.
??? Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, fixtures, and installations to help prevent breakdowns.
?? Assist with plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical or equipment troubleshooting as required.
?? Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issues to support safe, comfortable operations.
?? Carry out seasonal property upkeep, including grounds-related tasks and site clean-up as needed.
?? Complete basic maintenance logs, report hazards, and communicate follow-up work to the supervisor.
?? Work with other resort staff to support guest service standards and smooth day-to-day operations.
?? Travel/relocate to northwestern Ontario for the seasonal operating period from April to November each year.
??? Must have own basic tools
?? Help other departments as needed and complete other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
?? Secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
? Previous experience in building maintenance, general repairs, or a related hands-on role is required.
?? Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and work in varied weather and outdoor conditions.
??? Basic knowledge of tools, maintenance equipment, and safe work practices.
?? Good attention to detail to identify hazards, defects, and maintenance priorities.
?? Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
?? Willingness to relocate to Sioux Narrows, Ontario from March to December annually.
??? English communication skills are required to follow instructions and report issues clearly.
?? Able to work in all weather conditions.
?? Willing to work weekends, mornings, evenings and holidays.
