Location- 4934 Spencer Street, Port Alberni, BC, V9Y 6N8
Salary- $23.24 per hour
Terms of employment- Permanent employment, Full time; 35 hours per week
Starts- As soon as possible
Vacancies- 1 vacancy
Job Requirements
Languages- English
Education- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience- 1 to less than 7 months
Workplace information- On site. Work must be completed at the physical location.
There is no option to work remotely.
Job Responsibilities
Assists with mobility and transportation to appointments, social activities, or community programs;
Documents and reports on client progress, behaviors, and any incidents to supervisors;
Attends training to stay up to date on how to give good care;
Provide care and companionship for individuals and families;
Administer bedside and personal care to clients, such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and undressing;
Assist in regular exercise such as walking, etc;
Perform routine health-related duties such as assisting in the administration of medications;
Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, and making beds as required;
Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the clients;
Change non-sterile dressings, if required.
