Remote Vacation Booking Consultant Job

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Remote Vacation Booking Consultant to join our team. As a Vacation Booking Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting clients in planning and booking their dream vacations. Your in-depth knowledge of destinations, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills will be essential in creating memorable and stress-free travel experiences for our clients.
 Responsibilities 
* Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their vacation preferences, interests, and budget constraints.
* Destination Expertise: Stay up-to-date with travel trends, destination information, and local attractions, providing clients with expert advice and recommendations.
* Vacation Planning: Create customized vacation itineraries that cater to the unique needs and desires of each client, including flights, accommodations, activities, and more.
* Quoting and Pricing: Prepare accurate and transparent price quotes for vacation packages, ensuring clients receive value for their money.
* Booking Management: Secure reservations for flights, hotels, tours, car rentals, and other vacation-related services, confirming booking details and processing payments.
* Documentation: Assist clients with travel documentation, including passports, visas, and travel insurance, as needed.
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional post-sales support, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues that may arise before, during, or after clients' vacations.
* Up-selling: Identify opportunities to enhance clients' vacations with upgrades, special packages, or additional services.
* Promotion and Sales: Promote vacation packages, special offers, and loyalty programs to increase bookings and customer retention.

 Requirements 
* Proven working experience is preferred but not required
* Proficiency in English knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
* Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
* Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc)
* Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
* Demonstrable ability to handle crises
* Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred
